I've fished Butla twice this week.Caught 17 & 25 with only 3 legal fish, lots of small white bass to steal minnows.Haven't talked to anyone doing any better.

Fished Arkabutla last Saturday all day with only 3 keepers to speak of. Slow trolled with minners, jigs, minners and jigs, and cranks! Lake was muddy. Hoping for better luck Saturday (weather permitting). I'll keep you posted.

Don't have a report for Arkabutla or Tunica but for those going to Sardis the lake is in pretty decent shape dispite the rain. The water is a little off colored in places and the average surface temp. Thursday morning was around 79 degrees. The steady draw down of water has scattered the bigger fish close to the old river and creek channels. I found the best area to be below Holiday Lodge to Buford's Ridge and over to Clear Creek. If your pulling crank baits try to stay in about 23-25 fow of water and run those baits around the 15 ft mark. Anything with a blue or purple back worked well for me and a pink Bandit took a few fish. Not many throwbacks and watch for those huge cats that are swimming with the crappie.
