Default How about this storm coming

I don't know if I ever seen a TS or hurricane come in from the direction this one might be coming in...Atleast it avoided the oil fields as I'm sure Big Oil was foaming at the mouth for a reason to jack the price back up.

If it comes from the east I can't imagine the amount of rain it could dump.

1973,1978 and 1999 all big floods on the Tn river. Winter of 1972 and 1973. The Tn River came up 19ft here from late evening until daylight the next day.
And all three of those I'm remembering right was from the east. Now last one this time of year. I think we got 10+" of rain out of it.

This is by far the rainyest August I can remember. BUT on a high note, there should be plenty of water to let out of the lake this winter.

If you click the link the above map shows Fay in downtown Jackson Monday morning. I hope they go ahead and let a little water out of the rez so if we get 10-20" of rain they'll have plenty of room to hold back some of that water.
