Default Summer Snow Storm At Arkabutla

Was it just us or did anyone else get to experiance the whiteout bug storm? At one point they where on every inch of me and my buddy. On the upside they tasted like chicken. Hope they had all their fun today and are gone by tomorow.

I don't know about chicken, but I tasted plenty of those bugs this morning.....they were so thick they made fishing almost impossible for about an hour...even brought some home inside my shoes.

Yep...I haven't fished butla in about 3 years. All looked good as I ran out away from Hernando point and those bugs ganged up and gave me a "clothes line" at 45mph. There were guys swatting like their heads were on fire until about 10am. I'm assuming this isn't normal?? Thank goodness for the bug spray hte kids left in the boat. It did actually help...a little.
