Default well went night fishing fri. night at sardis...

but it was for GREEN CARP! A long time friend invited me back into the bass world last night and I had a blast except for those lying, cheating(and every other word) weather people who said 5mph wind!! Had swells coming over the front of bass rig but nothing too dangerous, just made holding a position impossible. So we had to make running passes and still did pretty good. Forgot what a hawg hitting a spinnerbait felt like!(just glad I was holding on to my buddies pole tight enough when they did) cause they knocked the fire out of it. All and all, had a great trip and brought back some great memories from the days when he and I fished. He promised that he will come on a spring crappie trip. I think if I can get him on them right , I may be able to convert him!(or at least make him think about it)

Get him to go on a good Fall fishing trip, they are much better than the Spring ones.

I might not be much help due to I rarely ever go on that end of the lake to fish and am not as familiar first hand what is under the water as I am on the other end of the lake. But best I could tell, we primarily targeted some submerged rock piles and main lake points that had some very define drops on each side. Again, not trying to be too non specific, it is that I am just not that familiar with the lower end of lake. We fished these points and piles from the 6' deep mark down to probably 12' deep. Fished midnight special spinnerbaits with plastic pork trailers and also deep diving crankbaits. I do know we never went as far as CLear Creek though. The guy that took me has been fishing that lake at nights for many, many years.
