Default Mainline or bottom bouncing

Hey guys,I'm new to the site as well as trolling.Been fishing 'butla over 30years, mostly on foot. I started last year with a bottom bouncing rig, and had fair results. This year, I fished with a buddy who uses a rig with an egg sinker looped between two hooks or jigs.(He has won several big money tourneys but is kinda tight lipped).I've started doing this but the only improvement I have seen is that it rolls up better for storage. Any thoughts or opinions would be greatly appreciated.

If you will wait a few weeks, BnM will have these rigs availabale to the public. They are made just like Ronnie Capps makes them himself. Same length between drops, same P-Line, same weights and Eagle Claw 214 EL light wire no. 2 hooks. This is the best 2 hook minnow rig that there is. They will be availabale in 3/8, 1/2, 3/4, and 1oz. size weights.

wind, moving boat, normal biting fish, I like that rig ok.

but on rare occasion when it's calm and fish are barely pecking at it,
I still like both hooks above the weight.

You can buy a 2 hook rig, rigged with the egg singer in the middle around here at any bait shop. It is usually wound on a piece of tubular cardboard. I use 'em occasionally. Ky rig. Every thing is a KY rig to me.

I like slow trolling roadrunners and I like to use a 1/2 to 3/4 line weight about 18" above the jig. This lets the jig move freely. In the winter I change to a Kentucky rig with weight on bottom.
