Default A story in pictures by Wannabe #5

Then while he's still whining about it, you remind him of just what a good fish looks like and the trip where you skunked him but good.

It seems like dad should be tryin to keep the rivalry down but from the looks of it ole dad adds a little gas to the fire every now and then for good fun!! Ha!

luvjign I agree on the pic it isn't from this weekend cause ain't nobody wearing no jacket this time of the year and there is not a big enough hole in the levee to let that much water out of the lake!! I bet the level is around 196-199 in that pic!!

OK, OK, I took a little literary license in telling the story. Authors are allowed to do that aren't they?

The bass pics are from last early fall or late summer I think. On top of that, little brother (Gottabe) didn't actually chunk big brother (Gonnabe) out. However, it was a classic one foot on the bank, one foot on the boat kind of a deal. Little bro did catch the big fish of the day though.

The crappie pic, I think is from Spring last year and was caught by little bro. I had shut down the big motor and was making a long troll into a particularly good tree so as to not disturb the fish. Using 12 foot poles, I was about 18 foot from the tree when little bro comes tearing up to the front, bumps me and just about knocks me out so he could get the first drop beside it. Wouldn't you know it, that's the fish he pulled out of there. Completely unassisted with just a jig. If I recall, it went all of 2 pounds and maybe a little more. I love the way he's shoving that fish to the camera to make it look just as big as a suitcase and the expression on Gonnabe's face like "what the ?" That was his first sho-nuff Crappie using a jig pole. Pretty dang good start if you ask me.

You're not far from right on the level - I think it was in the 194 range. Note the GPS has been whited out. hehehehe. Gotta watch out for Pstone, he wasn't born with that talent for finding fish you know. LOL.

Yeah, Jonathon, first quick glance I was thinking these pics were from this weekend......you know.....tryin' to follow the picture-story and all.......and Chris was punishing one of those boys by making him wear a coat on a 108º heat-index day...........I thought "d***, this dude's crazy"
