we caught a few out from the dam in 25-40 ft. of water, and the rest between the dam and clear creek in 22-30 ft. of water. we had to move from the dam because of the white bass, on 4 or 5 rods at a time. i guess we were trolling about 15-19 or so feet deep. hope this helps.

DH, one more question. Are you using weights to get the crankbaits down, or just long lines?

Are you guys using the motor or the trolling motor ?? for the crankbaits ?

so I guess my question is are you going somewhat fast or slow?? Maybe, one way of looking at it is what angle is the string to the water. 90 would be dead still , 15 degree would maybe be a little fast .....

pops, we were fishing 4 poles with long lines, and four other poles with either 1 or 2 oz. weights. gar, we use the ob motor between 1.5 and 2 mph.
