they were going to cut it between the two knuckles, about half of it, but once he started the cut, he found that there was too much damage behind that area so he had to cut it back almost all the way to the palm. i,ve got maybe one inch of it left. thanks again for the prayers and encouragement and please continue praying that there is no infection or any other problems. i pray that no one else ever has to go through anything like this. i thought i knew about pain, but this is the worst i have ever had, by far! feels just like having a piece of glowing charcoal setting on your finger!

To let us know that you're about to go get it removed, and then come back and report that it's gone........most folks would be throwing themselves a pitty party right now. Again, I feel for you or anyone who looses a limb, as we take it for granted we'll always have them. I witnessed a fairly young fella get his leg cut off with a 3 ton coil of sheet metal falling on him. I'm weak when it comes to this kinda stuff. I realized it that day. I'd go so far as to say that you're probably doing a heck of a lot better than I'd be doing.

I've gotta say, in the same spirit as luvjign, that I am totalally amazed by the the strength of your character and the obviously optimistic outlook you have held through this ordeal. You set quite the example. We should all be so well composed in the face of such a situation. You have my prayers and my admiration.
Man, all I can say is hang in there. I will pray for you and hope you get over this. Believe me I know exactly what you are going through. It will get better each day.

Brian we've been praying for you daily and I know some of the pain I got one of my fingers in a machine and lost just part of it but I can't really imagine the loss of it all. We will keep praying for you!
