Default Today

Went up to 43 this morn, saw a few other boats on the water, 2 parked under the bridge (all morn). I didn't catch a thing. Very windy. New spark plugs made a huge difference when I first cranked, but after several stops & starts it got bad again. Will treat with seafoam next time. Still runs good at higher rpm. Took my gps this time a boat runs 26mph. I think that's pretty good for 25hp. Hope some of yall did better.

sounds like you are getting there with the boat, now we just got to work on catching and not fishing as much. Were there any boats on either side of the south side of the bridge?

Default You mean the South side of the Bridge?

The Rez actually runs more east and west than it does North and South. Not much but it does. You know the Bridge on the channel actually runs about North 8 degrees West in Direction. Sho hate you didn't catch any by least your getting used to that boat. Heck, if it wouldn't have been for Bigger, I may STILL be sitting there at Grenada stuck

Tha sea foam MAY work, I had a 25hp Merc 2005 model that ran like crap on idle and low rpm too. Top end tho, It ran like a scaulded ape...better than 30 good luck!

Yes. Haven't learned to read the big water so can't tell you exactlly where they were, but there were a few.

Default OUCH triton

That left skid marks. LOL Not wanting to be that way but I knew what direction the rez runs and had a few people tell me to go North from a spot and you'll find a good spot ot Go here and run west a certain distance and you'll find this. NEVER DID find non of them. LOL Remember, I'm a licensed Surveyor so I notice things like direction. I get paid to do that
