    Default Shorefishing in Duluth

Hey, any known spots for crappies (or anything else) in the Duluth area? I see on the MN DNR page there's a spot under the I-35 bridge there on the St. Louis river. We're just going up for a long weekend and wanted to wet a hook.....

    Thanks for any info...

Ive heard you can catch walleyes from the area of the boat landing under the blatnik bridge. I think there might also be a fishing pier there. I saw a video on youtube catching crappies right next to boat piers and walleyes also using slip bobbers and minnows. I would try to find that by searching videos for the st louis river and will give you an idea.

There's all sorts of fishing to be had inside the harbors and along the St Louis River but you do have to be careful about which shore you're standing on and which license you have. Read the regs carefully.
