Default Anyone tried the groove rod holder?

The Groove Rod Holder is great for ice fishing. I can snap it onto the frame of my portable fish house, or mount it on a bucket. One piece, no moving parts, it floats. Great for the kids.

I've got two of them for my flip over and I love them. Best idea I've seen to hold your rods.

I'll be working at The St. Spauk Ice Show on Friday of this week and will take a peek to see if anyone has these. I haven't seen them in the stores up here, but thats not to say they aren't available somewhere here. We see a lot of ingenuity in rod holders but much is homebrewed and doesn't see the marketplace.

    These look handy and workable.
