Thread: Vacation ideas

Hello,
My wife surprised me and said that she would like to go to Michigan/Minnesota/rent a cabin/on a lake/13 yr old son/take our golden retriever/end of july/cooler weather. Anyone have any ideas on a nice quiet lake/clean cabin not too far from some good places to eat. This would be more of a relaxing vacation than a fishing vacation but I would like to fish some . I have a 4 hp motor for a rental boat or we could take float tube/kickboat type boats. I have two of those. I would really like to stay away from the jetski type place. Thanks for any ideas!
