Default Leech Lake

Hey everyone, me, my brother, and my dad are going up to leech lake form june 13-20. We have neever fished there so we wanted to know where to fish for crappies during that time. Also, what baits or lures should we use and how should we fish. Any tips, advice, or stories would be greatly appreciated.

I have never caught crappies there, but i always hear reports of big ones caught in the weedy bays. look to Boy, steamboat, etc and mabye you will find them. i have heard the walleyes are coming back strong too. if it is choppy water, mabye try drifting across points with a jig and minnow. good luck and happy casts!
