    Default MTCC November tourney

Yesterday Nov 19th MTCC had our final regular season tourney of 2011. The fish was biting pretty good, as most everybody reported catching lots of keepers and non keeper fish as well. Looks like Woods Res will have a great future in the next year or two dispite the growing stripe population. We also noticed there was lots of white crappie brought to the weigh in vs it's usually black nose crappie caught there. Everybody had a tough time finding places to fish where the wind wasn't a big factor yesterday. Most of us had to fish places we wasn't use to fishing due to the high winds. Everybody still had a great time it seemed because we all knew we were fishing for a great cause. One of our members (Deanie Jones) lost his home due to a fire this past week, and all the proceeds taken in this day was to be given to him and his household. There was some others who have also contributed to us, to give to him, and some have contacted me right here on crappie.com to get address to send money for them. I personally want to thank everybody who has give to them to help get them get started over. The tourney results are as follows. 3rd place yesterday was the team of J.W. Jackson and Joey Davis with 6.73 pounds. Second place was the team of John Wells and Randy Anderson with 7.25 pounds. First place yesterday was Toby Ivey and Tracy Farmer with 8.55 pounds and they also had big fish at 1.39 pounds.Thumbs Up

Good job to everyone, and though I didn't say it yesterday, I'm proud to be associated with a group of guys that would stand up and do for Deanie and his family as all of you did without hesitation. Way to go folks. Good to see everyone at weigh in, enjoyed the visit. Congrats to the winners.
Live well, Be happy, and do good work.
