November 21 Tournament Woods
All,
Do not forget the tournament this weekend at Woods at the Franklin County ramp. 7:30 am start. Have your forms filled out and ready to go. My partner, Brian, called last night to get the stategy for the tournament. I told him that we would be fishing beside Fish hawk first and then going to fish besides Toby and company second. Bring plenty of minnows. Maybe we can catch some leftovers from them. I will be looking for my orange markers on the lake and getting on them. Fish Hawk, Where are we trying first so that I know how much gas to buy?:D I need to stay away from Toby in the beginning because all of those movie camera's around may make me look fat. I heard that the camera adds 10 pounds!

I bet you are right about that camera adding 300 lbs fatboy.I think thats the same camera they used to tape the show here.lol. Ole GCF gotta sit this tourney out.
I took a new job and will have to work tomorrow, however I am tickled to death to have a job. It's annual inventory, and then I'll on be off on saturdays so I can keep my fishing up. I hope to get in some more this next week. Come December, I will be a heading on down to Guntersville for some winter ledge fishing and slab slaying. I love wintertime on Guntersville. Todd's put in for some trips already. Maybe we can have a group go down together one day. Good luck all in the tourney, and I will surely miss being there. Randy? Brother you on your own this time. I have all my bouys with me so you best stay close to Fishawk.
Any of you guys ever seen the add a seat rig in person? If you dont know, thats a rig to twin up 2 seats off one base. I bought one, and am just about set up except I have to buy this 1 more little adapter to adapt my floor plate to it.Good luck all in the tourney.

fatboy, I have not been back to Woods since I moved away from there. I was still catching them good when I left. I talked to an old friend that fished with me there and he is still catching limits regularly. I have only really been fishing twice this year. Once, I caught a lot of fish, but did not have a whole lot of big fish. The other time I went was all the way back on Easter Sunday. This was my girlfriends first real fishing trip, I had trained her to fish in the yard. Here is our catch from that day. She made me look bad. The boy holding the fish is the one we gave them too, you know I do not eat those things. We caught even more than that, just all that was on the string at the time. She begs me to take her back, gotta love a woman like that.

Oh no, thats not it, I like your company just fine. We are getting our carpets cleaned at 9 on Saturday and a guy is coming to lay out the slab for the new garage that I have been saving up for around three years now. Hope you don't mind my company even though I ain't been around much lately.

Your gonna have to run back up here one day Eric and us go make a run to Tims. That lake is on fire right now. The fish act like they know winter is fixing to be here and stay. I have been catching them from six down to 25 feet. Take care and glad you found another woman. Maybe this one will treat you a little better than the last one. FATBOY

I also enjoy Guntersville. I usually fish Mud Creek around the docks or over in the Hog Pen area. The double bridge is often good to me. I went once back in the spring to Goose Pond Colony and put in and shot docks all day just in that one big cove. I still am not real used to that lake because of how shallow it is. When the channel in the big coves getting out to the river is six to eight feet max, makes me pucker a little bit. Guess it is all what your used to doing. Congrats on the new job and I bet some of the members are breathing a sigh of relief that you won't be at the tourney you big Hollywood movie star you. :D FATBOY

fatboy, do you think they will be doing good on Tims in December. I am going to spend this weekend fishing with my woman or I would come up then. I should have a few days out for Christmas, maybe we could go sometime then if you can. Speaking of mudcreek that you were talking about, I was raised about 10 miles from there. I have heard of the hog pen all my life but do not really know where it is. I usually just bluegill fish mudcreek and always done most of my crappie fishing on up at crow creek. About the woman, I wish I had found this one from the start. If all women were like her, men would never have any problems. however if they were all like her, we would not know how to appreciate a good one either. She is better to me than I could have ever asked for. Save a crappie for me in Tim's so I will have one to catch when i come up there.
