    Default Lost boat key

I have been looking for my boat key for the last few weeks to no avail. I put them up before our cruise and haven't seen them since. I talked to Gilliams but no real help. I guess a locksmith will have to be called. I am tried of not wetting a line; it's down right sinful! What would you guys do?

depending what motor you have, you can go to travis marine beside Tims Ford statepark and they can probably help you.If they cant help just hotwire it fishing should be good tomorrow.

If I lost my key I would have on heck of a fit. I always keep a spare hidden in the boat somewhere. I would just forget where I hid it! :D Travis is your best option and closest to you.

That sucks to have lost your keys. But heck I got about 10 sets made for mine and staged all around. But the only set I know I can go straight to is the one set in the boat in the ignition.

A dealer that carries your line of motor should have or get a key.

I talked to a locksmith and was told $50 service call and 20-40 for the key. I don't think so!!!! I'll try a marine center.

I think I would install a new ignition switch that would be cheaper than a locksmith.

The dealer can get you a key. OMC keys I ahve never had to get but the merc dealer sells all keys here for about 3 bucks. Worse comes to worse you can replace the switch for about 20 bucks.

I bought several from my Merc dealer. Yours should have them too.
