Fished Priest yesterday with a friend of mine and had a good and bad day on the water. We caught 13 keepers a couple stripers and 2 largemouths. Had a great time fishing, went to a bunch of spots that I've learned and while way out from the launch my battery in my boat died. Put the trolling motor on high and 2 hours later made it back to the launch. Not cool!! Thank goodness it happened yesterday instead of Oct 31st tournament when I'm taking my father in law from WI out with me for the tournament.
I think that's happened to most of us at least once!
It's Happen Twice With Me,1st Time Was The 1st Time My Wife Went Fishing With Me It Took Over 2 Hours To Get Back To The Franklin Co.ramp Oh Did I Mention It Was 10:00 At Night When We Got Back To The Ramp.she Wasn't Happy.
GOD loves fishermen, the earth is 75% water
A fishing memory for a lifetime. I have had mine already this year. Thank goodness for strong trolling motor batteries. How deep were the fish at Priest?

Last trip out for me was that way.Even broke off my DF sensor on the Tm but it and engine are both fixed to my knowledge now and ready.Trying to decide if I want to fish tomorrow or not.Still pretty tired and got some big football games tomorrow to watch.
There was a pair of jumper cables long enough to go from TM batts to start batt in my boat when I bought it. Used em some already. Good to have. If you ever need them and I'm on the water that day, call and I'll come help you get runnin. Might cost a secret spot or two.lol
Wake me up early,
Be good to my dogs,
and teach my children to pray.
I just swap batteries but my boat is one of the cheap simple ones.

Wtg on a day of nice catching there Andy,
I have a new starting battey myself. Hopefully it is good for a good while. All I need now is the key to start it! lol....
