Thread: Monday at Normandy

Jesse & I put in at Fire Lake about 4:30 & fished for a couple of hours. Fished structure 22' deep with fish at 10-15 feet. Used Minnows on slip bobbers, tightlines and jigs. Managed to avoid getting a single bite. Water temp 68.5. Came in as the sun set and the temperature began to plummet. The lake and the day were beautiful, and we had a good time in spite of being skunked.

It still beats work or sittin at home Mike! You had a honey of a day for it!! I went to woods and managed a dozen keepers and ate most of em for supper!

I never got one phone call about a crappie dinner! I bet they were tasty. Have they moved up on Woods yet? I am thinking that it may be bobber time from what I experienced on Tims on Saturday.

Caught most of em in the same place I've been fishin for the past 4 mo. 16 to 20 fow 17'deep. off of the main point on the lake.
