    Default Good for a laugh

Went to woods today, wind very strong out of SW I believe. Put in at the ferry cuz that was closer to the upwind side. Pitch dark, no lite there anymore, I launch. Only problem was the rope didn't get connected to the trailer. So off it drifts into the sunrise. Not a soul at the ramp, wind at my back, this isn't gonna get any better. Strip down to the tightey whiteys and off I go. Yes, I can still get up over the side of the boat. Here I am in my unnies standin at the TM gettin back to the dock. Glad there wasn't any small children around, they'd have been scarred for life. Wet ones in the floorboard, britches back on and off I go. Managed to catch 9 keepers on jigs, no biguns. several chips. Someone at the ramp gave me their 9, which were much better than mine, and the senior center woman was smilin big when I left:D. Also learned what water I don't want to be in looks like. 20mph plus on downwind side near the candy store. Whitecaps. Good day overall.

Man that just made my day!!!:D Me and my brother in law were suppose to go today but the front was right on top of us at 4:30 this morning with heavy rains in it. I'm glad someone braved the weather and gave it a try. Glad it worked out for you.

If we can't poke fun at ourselves life wouldn't be any fun.

Have you found the twins yet or are they still in hiding?

That front just finished passing us and its cool this evening. I'm freezing my brass sinkers just thinking about that swim. Too funny, but I'm glad everything worked out.

Yes, I agree. Life is way too short not to live it having fun and enjoying time spent with good friends. Glad you had a fun day after and got to enjoy some fishing.I plan on being in the rain tomorrow if it rains. Will be on Woods Reservoir if its not 25 mph winds.
