Thread: It's Sure Is Quiet

it's sure been quiet on here lately.anybody getting to fish? i plan on going fri. i hope i can beat the stroms.i went to tims a little while saturday caught 3 with only 2 being keepers.all caught on minnows over tree tops.

i've been to tim's a few times in the past two weeks. Never have got more than 6 or 7 keepers but i think i can do better.
I plan to draw for a partner. Anyone else going to be in the tournament week from sat???
Sure would like to make a trip down to "Chick". Been readin about how good the fishin is there now. I've never been there so I guess I'm lookin for a "guide".

Went to Tims late yesterday afternoon mainly to make sure I didnt have a motor problem.I had tried to crank up last week and it wouldnt start.Called mechanic and he fixed it over the phone. Was my connection going into the motor.Saved me an hours drive and labor. Good ole buddy. Anyway, had 30 minutes tops to fish before dead dark.Tims is a great lake to fish when its windy.Wind was wipping the trees and the water I was on was glass still.Caught 1 9 inch crappie, couple brim and motor ran out fine. To reply about the tourney, I am still unsure if I will be there.Im leaving early sunday the 18th for Mexico for a week.I will make up my mind by thursday night. I plan to be at the meeting still.

I will be there also looking for a draw partner. I will not be much good as a guide on that lake. Looking forward to it. GCF, I hope you have been practicing your espanol and do not kiss any of those swines while you are there.
