Got on the water today with JohnW. Was a beautiful day but very windy and the bite was few and far between. We managed to get 10 nice keeper fish today with a total weight being 12 lb 8 oz. Most was over a lb each with 3 caught in a row that was 1lb 13oz, then a 2 lb 3 oz, then another 1lb 12 oz then it went back to slow, one here and there. The fish basically quit biting this morning when all the clouds rolled away but since I was vacationing, Mr.John felt sorry for me and stayed on till 3.We are going back tomorrow to try our luck on Woods probably. Had the entire lake to ourselves today. Seen only 2 boats besides ours all day on the water.:D

Nice job Toby and John. So how deep and what did you catch them on?
You will become like those with which you associate.
Nice job guys!! After I heard the forecast I decided to stay home rather than fight the wind.
Fish was caught on minnows mostly with a couple on jigs 15 to 20 fow. had to fish areas where we could get out of the wind.
good job guys,a man told me back in the summer that he used to fish normandy all the time(back in the late 70's early 80's)and that 2lb. fish was very common on that lake.again great job guys.
GOD loves fishermen, the earth is 75% water

GCF,
Nice job and great weight. I would love to sneek over one afternoon and give them a go again. Glad to see some big ones showing up on that lake again. I has been a couple of years since I caught a 2 pounder there.
