    Smile broken B n M rod

Last winter at the Grizzly jig open house I bought a couple of B n M jiggin rods. Last week, while vertical jiggin, one of them broke as I set the hook on a fish. It broke a few inches below the joint on the handle section.
Yesterday I called B n M and they told me to send it back and if it doesn't look to have been abused they will more than likely replace it. It's probably going to cost 8 or 10 bucks for shipping but that's cheaper than buyin a new rod at $40.00. Do any of you guys in the club have a shipping tube layin around that you want to get rid of??

Good to see B & M stands behind their product. Throughout the boards it seems there's ALOT of B & M poles broken....but that might only be because so many use them.

Had a tube here too if MrJohns dont work out or if someone else needs one in da future. BnM seems to be a good company to work with. I too have had 1 break at that same spot but I took mine back to Walmart where I got it and walked out 5 min later with a brand new one.

    Steve,

I'm glad to hear that BnM is doing that for you. I am a huge BnM fan and have had great service from them. I have had 2 occasions where the tips of my Richard Williams Crappie Wizard rod tips broke off. I called BnM and both times they shipped out new rods to me and I didn't even have to send the broken rods into them. I am a customer for life and will never buy a pole other than a BnM. Glad to hear that they are taking care of you.
