Saturday GCF and I sported around in my Bee, and C1 and his neighbor were also enjoying the day. And giving lessons. Through a comedy of errors my boat could only find 4 keepers at the end of the day, Candy Store refugees. C1's boat had better than doubled our efforts last I heard. Weather was great, boat traffic wasn't too high. Didn't see the usual Bass Tourney traffic for a change. We called it a day and after relocating the live well residents to the ramp area, went to Adam's Market for one of their tasty burgers. Overall a good day, c'mon cooler weather.

Well after the launch of the secret weapon and finding the right spots we Fishhawked our way to 14 keepers by noon. We started at 7am and we caught all but 5 in the same spot. 16 FOW and fish were a couple of cranks off the bottom. The secret weapon went out on me for a short period and then I cranked it back up and it worked fine the rest of the day. Sure is the way to go. My neighbor was a lot more respectful of me than Skeet. He let me catch 2 more fish than him so he may get to go back. Skeet was forced to fish with GCF and they circled my marker like a couple of buzzards. I had to use my 12' rods to push them away while I was still kicking. Had a good day and was glad to see them out there. Oh by the way we did not catch any throwbacks and the 2 smallest fish were 10.5" The other fish were 11" to 12.5". Largest going 1.35 pounds. Just for trashtrout I did catch 2 nice cats that slimed my boat fairly well. Had to get those things back into the water

Some days you give lessons, some days you get lessons. Yesterday was my day to receive. Thank you , Oh Great One.
