    Default Gun Lake_6-4-09

Haven't been to gun lately so i was at the ramp watching the sun come up on a very calm morning. The water temp was @ 67 degrees a few degrees lower then last time i was there.

I started out trolling so i could see were the active fish were and the bite stayed at 12ft. all morning, I didn't keep nothing under 9 inches and noticed the dark color in the males were much lighter, i caught 1 fish that was all tore up, must of found a boat prop or a pike.

I ended up drifting up in the shallows to site for fish for the fun of it and seen lots of blue gills on there beds.

Default Gun is looking better and better.

Don't know if I can wait until my week off to make the trip. Nice group of fish, Jim.
