    Default Pine Lake (Barry Co.)

My mission this year is to start trying different lakes around my area and this lake is on my list, I often talk to people at the boat launch about lakes that hold good size crappie and this lake has come up a few times.

I been looking at it in my sportsman's southwest Michigan book (pg 47) and its a 660 acre lake and it looks like it would be a good lake to try, lots of structure, coves and break lines to fish and here there is some big ones there. Was wondering if any one had been there and tell me what you know.

I don't expect much feed back since theres only a few west siders here on this site but any info would be welcomed

here is a link for ones that dont have a map book

I know somting bout pine lake u r right there are some slabs in there and I know a few good spots to get em. This is a clear lake lots of weed beds shallow and deep. Great crappie lake not a lot of traffic during the weekdays. Well have to hook up a give it a shot

Default Buddy and I fished it last spring.

Like Skillet says it's pretty clear lake and lots of structure/weed beds. I will have to look at my map to find the spot we hit them at.

Will cost you $5 or $6 to launch unless you know of another launch than the one by the little marina.

Will have to make it over there. Maybe during June 15-19 when I am off for the week. You, Skillet, and I should try to make something happen that week.

what was the size of the fish you were catching there, been at to many lakes lately except gun lake and been lots of smaller ones.

here is a c/p of another site--------------------------------------------

There is a marina on lake 1 by the grocery store and a township park on lake two just down the road from the grocery store they both charge 5 bux. I like both landings equal sometimes the park gets cramped where at the marina you can park along Doster road.

I know this is a super old thread but where did you guys fish? I fished over by the trailer park all the way down the coast to MCTI. I will have access to a pontoon on Pine lake within the next week if you guys would like to try to meet up and go on a little fishing trip at some point.
