Thread: Who's the crazy one fishing

For crappie that is.

With bass opener this weekend and being a holiday its going to be a zoo.

I know some small lakes i haven't wet my line in yet and if weather (wind) allows me to i might.

Best to find those small lakes that don't get all the action for this weekend. If weather is nice will have to try regardless.

I'm using these last peaceful days before the hordes arrive to fish some of the bigger lakes in my area. From Saturday on I will limit myself to fishing a rather small private lake that I have access to. Watching what happens on large lakes over holiday weekends is like watching your mother get mugged.

Luckily I have to work all weekend so I will not be tempted to try to get out there. I am off Monday though, and yes I will be after the fish. Call me crazy. Actually Monday I am going to take one of the young guys I work with after some small mouth in the morning and then I will be chasing specks and gills in the afternoon.
