Default The trips of a lifetime

2 buddies of mine caught 35 slabs 3 days ago. The top seven were Master Angler qualifiers. The top crappie was 17". The next day they took ME! :D We got 25 topped with a 14"er. Yesterday I went solo...got 20 which included a dozen 13"ers I threw back. I got my personal best 15"er. It may be over...maybe not. Some of life's most precious moments take place in the presence of a fish, and these trips will be a few more. I'm looking forward to doing 2 stringer mounts of these hogs.

I think the safest answer to that is.... one of the impoundments of the Tittabawassee River.

Here are a few; 7 of those 9 are 14" or longer. The one in the middle is 17".

Based on what I've been seeing in catches around here and the water temps. How deep were they?

Life has many choices, eternity has two...choose wisely.

I can't tell males from females until I look inside. They were(are) in 3-4 fow as long as the water is a little cloudy from wave action disturbing the clay banks. When it clears they move out to 8-10'. I only got 5 this morning, but the big one was almost 15".
