    Default Eagle lake today.

Wife and I went down to Eagle lake and worked the water from 3:00 until 7:00. I really figured they would be moved in shallow, but was wrong. We found them in 13-15 FOW hanging 6-8 down.

They didn't really turn on to much of anything. Caught a few on minnows hung on Chart. 1/32 oz jig. One or two came on LaserDocs Green Hornet pattern. One more came on Panfish Assassin Tomato Seed.

All in all mamma and I came home w/ half dozen nice ones and a couple fat gills. The three biggest ones were just a touch under 12".

    Default all right

you done good, how was the wind on that lake ?

I went up in Newyago Friday afternoon and it was to windy but went any way with no fish, not even a bite. Saturday i went back to the same lake and all i caught by mistake was a monster bass.

Sunday i went to Duncan lake and caught way to many fish, to bad there only 8 to 9 inches with a few 10 inches, i did keep my catch this time and had a great dinner. Well Sunday afteernoon i went to a small lake in Barry co. for my 6th time this spring and still no crappie but i did stop and took a walk in the woods looking for mushrooms and not even 5 steeps i found some fake morel mushrooms, all i found was 1 good one.

Wind gave the troller a run for the money. Had it set on 3 to make just a little headway, but it laid down some like usual right before dark.

It's good to see someone is at least looking for shrooms. I keep telling myself to put aside the poles and take a walk down in Allegan forest.
