the wife and I are planning on coming up that Friday, getting a hotel room someplace.
wife started a new job last summer and cannot get vac time in June and my company decided to change the way they have done vacation time for the last 50 years....now I have no paid vacation until October, to say I am not happy would be the understatement of the century
so my trips this year will be limited to mostly weekends and those not far away.
but we are looking forward to the camp!!

John, one of the cabins is still open if you guys want it. If I remember correctly, you stayed in one of them once before. They do have some nice hotels in the area though.
That sucks on the vacation thing. Unfortunately, the only thing you can do in your situation is ride it out until you retire. Way to much time vested to start over.
