Haven't been fishing yet. The guy I go with is off Friday so we're gonna hit either D'arbonne or Poverty Point Friday and Saturday. All I have left is to cap the roof. I worked by myself yesterday and got the ridge cut open and the rest of the shingles down. Ended up being almost 5 square so it was a good day. My back and legs tell my it's time for a day off but we have some rain coming tomorrow so I have to get the vent and cap on today. Also put a beef roast in the oven yesterday so when my son got home from work dinner was ready. He eats pretty good while I'm down.

Well, it's time to make the donuts.

THE ROOF IS DONE!!!! Vent and cap went on today, mess cleaned up and lasagna made for dinner. I think I might go surveying the next couple of days, it's along a bayou that people fish for crappie, catfish and gills so maybe I should sneak a rod and reel in case the boss turns his back for a minute.

I'll be putting a new roof on for her soon so I just slid a piece of coil stock under the shingles a couple of rows up and over the edge, a temporary band aid till later.
I've owned several houses in La. and they all had metal drip edge's. Even my new house in Tn. But we do appreciate you coming down and fixing the house's that don't. Sorry you didn't get to fish more.
