Thread: MICDC fall outing

Typically mid September is even weather, so I'm bettin' it's gonna be a bunch nicer than this spring!

Well, when mama and I got home from our weekend wedding adventure, there on the counter was my "care package" with some of the prizes for our fall MICDC outing/tourney.

Yup. You and I will have to divy 'em up right?!! I think my buddy that just took runner up down in Kzoo for the RibFest is gonna come out with his "girls" and grill us up some dandy eats too.

Good eats are a given....bandits for prizes...not so much.

Don, Mama has granted me permission to fish on the 18th. As long as I dont get tied up at work longer than planned, I'll be there w/my Father-In-Law around 12:30. I'll put in and float over to the campground. What site will everyone be gathering at. Brent

That's great. Those of us who are camping are all congregated in sites #78, 79,75, and I think somebody might be in 80 also. I'm in #78 which is right along the channel next to the grass area by the boat launch so we will have all boats lined up right there close. Most of the activities inlcuding the lunch will be right there too. Look for the MICDC banner!

Hope everyone is fired up as I am. Been watching the weather and praying for good. So far it's sounding like a nice day and not a bad weekend either.

Carol and I have been scheming some. We are planning some fun stuff so it's not just a great weekend with a tournament...it's a bash! Here's the rough agenda for Sat., and I'll have some printed copies too:

12:00-1:00 Lunch @ site #78.
1:00-2:00 Fellowship and fun
2:00-5:00 Tournament
5:00-6:00 Weigh in and awards

Bonfire and more fellowship until whenever. See you there!
