Attached is the list of lakes suggested for the spring outing. There is a pretty good geographical area represented. I don't know that leaving the suggestion box open any longer is going to do much good. I think those that are interested probably have made their suggestions already. The rest of the people will just have to live with our decision I guess. I watch this post for another week to see the replies, and then will post a poll.
I would recommend those that are thinking seriously about making the outing to do some internet research on the links included before voting the poll. Most of the lakes listed have either been recommended as good crappie lakes, or are listed by the DNRE or other "official" sites as having good populations of crappie.

I gotta tell you, this list is almost like an MVP of lakes. I have fished most of them and I am up in the air. Being from NorthWestern Wexford county, I grew up fishing Tippy, Mitchell/Cadillac, Houghton Lake, and the likes. Living down in Lansing now so I don't fish them near as much anymore. My heart is in the North but I'll go anyplace.
Just watching to see where it ends up. I'm planning on being there. Spring is just about here.

Good to see you're planning on it Mike! With the list we have somebody is gonna be travelling a spell. I hope we get more people to do a weekend thing and camp so we can enjoy each others company and get to know each other better. A day on the water fishing is great, but not much of a time for gettin' to know folks.

Don,
I hate making choices, i will go with what ever choice is made
I talked to Kevin Fri. We chatted for about 30 mins. We both are gonna go with whichever lake gets the most hits. I am going to post a poll tonight with the list of lakes and we will see who throws in their hats and for what lakes.
Kevin is all pumped about heading to Reelfoot the end of this month.
