Thread: Michigan C.com spring fishing outing

This is really just a reference post to my other post titled MICDC, but I wanted to make sure those who visit the board know that we are starting to plan for this. The other post title seemed a bit vague.

You can reply to either post with suggestions on lakes, however for myself and a few others, we need to end up with a lake that has a campground. There are quite a few lakes/impoundments that fit this bill.

The outing will be sometime in the month of May, most likely the first part of the month. We will be taking recommendations on lakes for about a month and then I will post a poll like I did last year to see who's serious and what lake(s) seem to have the largest vote count. From there we will narrow it down to the location.

saginaw bay is good fishing during may and the old Hoyes marina in Linwood has a camp ground

Thanks for the vote Gopher. We will have to keep your suggestion in mind for this fall or next spring. I take it you are in the Saginaw area? I am originally from Frankenmuth.
