    Default Michigan Master Angler Crappie.

I was talking to one of my fishing coworkers today. He and another coworker went up on Hardy this past weekend. Mostly the fishing was on the slow side, but his fishing partner caught a nice 14" speck. I will have to see if he has any pics for proof...you know us fisherman.

I talked to the guy that caught the fish and to his partner to verify. He said he'd take a pic. It's still on ice in his garage I guess.

They were fishing up river from the dam somewhere in a shallow bay that another guy and his family have sorta staked out as "theirs" over the last 15-20 yrs. You know how that is.

They were actually targeting pike and walleye from what he said. How much ice in on Gun?

I would say around 8" of good ice, i drove all over and still think how cool it is to do that on a lake that you normally float around with your boat.
