did you get out today? howed you do its 11 and i am sitten here waiting for my oldest to show up soon hopfuly maybe. going to give her till noon. prob hit the pit buddy called this morn said he had 8 speks layen on the ice. nice meeten up with ya yesterday to bad the fish didnt cooperate. have to do it agin. bro and i are going to hit chemung on sun going to take another wack at thoes suspended fish probly wont be fun got to give it another go.later........john

Ya, thats the story of my life. Day late and a dollar short. Found the fish yesterday but only small ones cooperate. Big ones caught after I'm gone. I had a good time even though the fish didn't always cooperate. I might be game for chemung on sunday. I'll have to check the schedule.

I hit three lakes today (puddle jumping). Batteese lake was dead. Williamsville was even worse. I didn't think it was possible to drill 100 holes and only mark a hand full of fish. I don't know where they are but it wasn't were I was. I drilled all the way across this lake and back again. 8ft through 27ft and back to 4ft. I went over to that pond we talked about (I had a couple of guys with me that wanted to catch some fish). We iced over 100 in short order but only one good fish (9 inch bluegill). I caught a ton of crappie but unless you wanted to fillet them with GI Joe's tiny little knife you were not going to get much.

I may hit a private lake tomorrow (will get a report tonight from a friend of mine), but other than that I don't have a lake in mind for sunday as of yet.
