Thread: Eagle lake today.

Solo run for a couple of hours. Couldn't take the cold wind. Tho't I dressed better than that. See what happens when the wife is out of town...nobody to make sure I dress warm enough.

I thought the day was going to be bad...I musta left my live well running last time or somethin' 'cause the batt. was dead for my motor. Trolled out to the "hump" and found them in 13 FOW suspended 7-9 feet down. They didn't like my minner, but did take panfish assassin albino shad, and my LaserDoc special bumblebee.

Released them into the church pond for the kiddies to find.


This one's 12-1/2" and just under a pound.

This ones a bit smaller.

Fantastic-good to see some one else fishing, i went out this morning on Gun lake, not a boat to be seen for a few hours. The water temp was @ 52 and the fishing was very slow. I boated 2 perch and i crappie , also had a good size pike on until i realized it was no match for my lite tackle.

I was really close to making the run to Gun as I had the whole day, but am glad I didn't after discovering my batt. was dead.

also those are some nice looking slabs, and were is that Church pond at. lol


went to Duncon lake this morning in the frost and fog, the crappie bite was good untill the wind came out, kept 4 smaller ones for lunch today.

hey u guys are makin me jealous, i havent been out since the gun lake gathering-no way to pull my boat. so one of my fellow c.comrs will either jus bring some fillets by tha house or pick me u to catch my own:D:D:D

Now see if I had made a trip over to Gun I think I woulda gave ya a holler. If I get back out I will give ya a shout. I'm a little low on fillets myself.
