Thread: no fun on gun, last night

go out on the water bout 630 for the first time in a month started marking fish in 30 fow bout 12-18 down. caught one small crappie. so i decided to stay after dark to see if bite turned on. should have come home and watched espn, not even one bite but it was nice to get out

The wife and I took our neice down to Eagle last night and fished from 5:30 until about 9:00. Caught 6-8 undersized smallies. Wife had one good one on, but lost it at the boat. One dink crappie for me. Not the best night of fishin' but the being on the water is always good.:D

I went to saginaw bay for the last trip of the year yesterday, fast fishing from 8 till 10:00 am then slow until last fish at around 2pm (15).
now back to the panfish, and maybe one or two trips after salmon, anyone know if the combat fishing at grand haven has started yet?

dont feel bad

i went Sunday late afternoon and the bite was really slow, i caught a 9 inch after an hour of fishing and another 4 or 5 small dinks. Talked to some bass fisherman and they said it was slow also. Might try this weekend

no bad feelins here jus gettn the dust off the equipment for the 19th

From what I've heard, they are catching some, but it's not fast and furious yet. Call Gold Coast Outfitters out of West Olive, they prolly know the current reports. 616.786.9314
