Thread: 25hp 2 stroke yamaha question.

Does water suppose to come out the exhaust ports ? This is a 2006 model and I 'm guessing that the exhaust comes out right below where you unlatch the lever to take the hood off. Reason I'm asking is because I just put a piston and rings in .Got it crank and notice water coming out of the exhaust. Need some info.

I have a 2008 some water comes out not a lot

Yes it is normal.

Put a water pump in it too. Any time you do any kind of work like that, water pump don't cost much.
