I have a yamaha motor got new have 10 hours on it went to dealer to get lower unit oil they said they have to do 10 hour service for warranty book said you can do your self i think they just wont to make 100 $ to chang oil and plugs
any body here of this before it is a 25 horse ?

Good question. I have an 07 Yammy 25es and I guess I need to look at the manual more closely. Does your motor have an hour meter?

I paid the dealer to do my F50. It's something easily done yourself, but I didn't want it to bite me in the butt later on if I needed warranty work. Seems companies are always looking for an excuse to deny claims. I'm needing a 50 hour check now, so I'll have to find out what the charge is for that.

Yes, if it is a 4 stroke and you have 10 hours the oil needs to be changed along with the foot oil. To keep the warranty you must use there recommended oil. $$$$

It is a 25 es 2 stroke it does not have hour meter was told 18 gal of gas is about 10 hours so i am going on that talk to other dealer he said i can do all but 200 hour service just to keep invoice that i got all they said to do.
