Thread: 1984 Omc/evinrude 6/8 Hp

Does somebody know how to test the powerpack on these engines. I have one that misfires hot or cold. Sometimes it runs fine, but most of the times it only hitting on one cyl. I have ohmed out all the other ign. parts and they check out fine.

Are you sure of your Mix and fresh gas, hose and tank connections, and most of all, if your spark plugs sat over the winter you might change them! When I lived in Louisiana that was the first thing everbody suggested and usually it was right.
