What is everyone riding in? I currently don't have a boat but am looking for a 1985 bass tracker V 17 GS. So post up pics of your rides and lets see what you have.

this old boat i had bout 1200 in and it still wouldn't run on plane, so i went to this

the $1.00 boat dont look quite like this any more.
Now the seats drop, the wind screen is gone, it has two Eagle 320's on it 1 on the bow and 1 on the console,got both of them for $150.00 inc 2 puck transducers and all the GPS cabling, new 500gph bilge pump, new livewell pump w/ arieator, new to me brute 750 Motor Guide 56 lb trolling motor wired thru a 50 amp breaker with 8ga wire, new cigerette lighter, rewired all the gauges and bow and stern lights, 2 new batteries, had the carbs done,new fuel pump and lines, new 10X13 prop and a 10X15 prop. Chrome wheels on the trailer with new tires, LED trailer lights, new winch, strap, and jack, recarpeted the wood. New transom saver and new transom tie downs. Inprocess of removing all the stripes and stickers as you can see in the first pic. I made the custom boat id #'s.
When the new motor gets installed we will also install all new gauges, (speedo, tach, trim, water pressure, temp). We will also extend the front deck back to the console. The back deck will be extended to accomidate the new fuel cell and to make room for a 3 way seat.
Next year we will start on the gel coat! WHOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOO!
Tach's out at 5200 rpm and runs 32mph on GPS with a full fuel tank and me and KKtPFP in it, loaded with all our gear and two 25lb anchors.
I have put bout $600 in it all together, but still not bad for a $1.00 starter boat

I give you your dollar back for it. Just write all improvements off as entertainment expenses. You can depreciate equipment over a 5 year period for tax purposes. A chance to break even.......
