Where can I find the best deal on a new or used starter for a 25hp evinrude, its a 1989 model. Thanks

crappie_dan, would suggest you consider taking it to an automotive starter/alternator repair shop.
They can probably give you a ball park figure on repair cost and if they can't then they might be able to tell you of a very good (local area) marine electrical repair facility.
Just my thoughts.

Check the rebuild shop...check ebay but be careful...iboats.com is good...I've seen alot of ARCO replacements that are still bumping along.
