    Default livewell pump

    I put new live well pump in but it only pumps if I put boat in reverse
    if i stop it starts pumping slower
    hope someone can help

    Make sure the output of the pump is pointing up. This keeps some water in the hose for priming.

    make sure pump is lower than inlet pipe if not is going to loose prime

    Try reversing the wires 12dc will run in reverse if polarity is wrong.
