Thread: Help needed converting 25 hp merc from tiller to remote

Hey Folks

Need your help and Ideas. I have a 2001/25 hp merc Tiller steer that is in great shape.

I want to put it my 14 ft Carolina Skiff but I want to use remote controls.

Can someone here share the things I need to do to make that work?

Is it already electric start?

Thanks for your interest .

The motor is already electric start and I have and idea that I can move that
to either a switch box or button.

Don't necessarily have to have a key start.
