    Default 50 amp fuse for trolling motor

    I have a MinnKota 24volt autopiloit. Do I need a 50 amp inline fuse? Can i use a 30 amp?

    I use a automatic re-setting circuit breaker. I got it at the boat shop....it connects directly to the battery post.

    You need a 50 amp breaker for a 24 volt motor. A 30 amp will pop on you as soon as you increase speed towards max.
