I've looked and looked but can't find an answer to this.
I've never had to store my boat outside, since I got this pontoon it doesn't fit in the garage so it's outside. I use the boat year round so I don't winterize. The question is what to do to drain all the water out of the motor before storing it? Do you just tilt up to max then lower it or what? Do you run the motor to blow the water out? Thanks
Just make sure the motor is lowered all the way and you will be fine.

Nahh that's just too easy, it's got to be harder than that :-)
Thanks, Grady
I wish I had a garage big enough to put this thing in, it's a pain hauling tools back and forth to the boat and having to take valuables out after each trip. I'm spoiled after years of parking the boat indoors and leaving everything in place for the next trip.
Yes make sure it is lowered down all the way & then I do one last thing, with the motor shut off I turn it over a couple of times so any (and there always is)water in the water pump drains back out. Up in the north if fishing in cold weather 30-36 you want to do this at ramp after you pull boat out of water cause after 1-2 hour ride home you will have a frozen water pump.
I don't suffer from insanity; I enjoy every minute of it.
