Many of you recommended seafoam and deep creek. I applied both and thought I had a new motor. Thanks to all who responded, and, to any others of you have been having similar problems I would give it a try. No I do not sell or represent seafoam, just glad it was recommended to my.

As a member of a couple outboard repair forums, I have never read a bad report about Sea Foam. It's some great stuff.

Stuff aint cheap, and I forget to have some on hand all the time, but I'm a believer too. Has done well for me and having been around since the 30's it must do it's job. Lot's of products come and go, this stuff just keeps on workin.

Do you need to use stabilizer w/Seafoam? I've heard yes and no, opinions please?

Jack, I don't know if you're supposed to use a stabilizer, but I didn't. Seems to work well without it.

Seafoam is a fuel stabilizer.
Quit complaining about the color, just pull up your skirt and fish! -- snagged
Know that and is why I asked, some guys have posted on here they use both, just wondering if it is a good idea, is it necessary, seems like extra cost for no reason to me. Just curious as to why both would be used?Seafoam is a fuel stabilizer.
