Default mercury fuel pump kit

i have put fuel pump kits in old mercury 115 hp outboards in the past. my dad thinks he is having a problem with his fuel pump . he has a 1999 mercury 200 hp efi. he has already bought the kit and wants me to put the kit in his fuel pump. are these model fuel pumps similar to the old 115 hp mercs? i was thinking i could rebuild it in an hour or so? should i tackle this job or suggest he take it to a dealer? thanks

The lift pump should be roughly the same as what you worked on....so go ahead and tackle it.
The second pump....or high pressure pump is not serviceable.
