I have a chevy astro 2002 with 140K. I did a tune up after the check engine light went on. The tune-up consisted of sparkplugs, wires, fuel filter, rotor, distributer cap, air filter and fuel injector fuel treatment. The vehicle is now running worse. Its misses really bad at idle. Here are the error codes
02 sensor heater
Injector circuit open
Random multiple misfire
Evap. Emission control system range
What does all this mean? Why did this all happen at once?
Help is greatly appreciated.
Thank
Im betting you dont have the sprak plug wires on the right spark plugs. Or you ahve them mixed up at the rotor cap.
Multiple ramdom misfire.
Could be just 2, also make sure the boot are seated all the way.
If you continue to have problems, post up. I know a thing or two about the 4.3L V6. :D
Bobber Down.

Check the air filter to make sure it is properly installed and the enclosure is closed properly. The oil change place pulled it on my wife's car and did not reinstall it correctly, you would have thought it was about to blow up it ran so badly.
