    Default Smokercraft Owners ?

Just thought I'd throw this out there. Have owned a promag 162 since new. (98) Time to replace her only because I want something larger. To this day I get an ocassional "nice rig" comment on the ramp. My dealer is long gone which means I'll have to travel 200 miles for the next one. Anyone own a milenium?

i own a SMOKERCRAFT and like it a lot. I always have someone at the ramp who wants to see it or check it out. I have the Alum 16.5 foot by 60" model. I'm not really sure of the model.

I believe thats a promag also. do you have the full windshield? Mines powered by a 90 merc (4 stroke) and she'll do 42. feels like 60 in that lil basterd

I ordered a new Pro-Alskan 172 in 1996...came out of the Oregon plat because that's the only one that I could get the vinyl flooring from. I ordered it with an Evinrude 88 SPL and ordered from a 1995 catalog...which showed the boat's max HP at 110...my 96 model was tagged at 125hp max...so I could have, and should have, gone with the 115 SPL (I hate oil injection).
The boat topped out at 42mph with just me....4 adults and fishing gear was 36mph...I could live with that.
I kept that boat for 13 years...wish I still had it! Still have the engine...and it still purrs like a kitten.
Smokercraft isn't the best made...but still they are very well made!

    Default Here's my SmokerCraft!

Bought this ole girl with hopes of refinishing to new condition this fall and winter. The floors needed to be replaced so I gutted it and am now in the rebuild mode. I have the main floor installed and I'm working on redoing the side and top trim panels. I should post pics of this rebuild as it progresses but it has taken longer than I have wanted. Thanks for letting me share. Rollcaster........................
